Jason's Opening Speech!

Alright, let's just get this going. I'm just going to lay out my game for all to see and if you wanna pick it (or me) apart, feel free, whether it be nasty/constructive questions or statements! You know i'm ready to deal with them. <3

I played a good game and I'm just gonna tell you how it all went.

I joined this game because it didn't look complex and I also thought it wouldn't have any amount of stress/hatred in it. The board was done simply and it was the host's first game, so it seemed like a good choice.

Let's be honest - not much happened in this game until the merge. A few people quit and the idlers got voted out. I was with Jenna first and foremost and we had a F2 pact. I found myself liking both Heidi and Amanda (who were also paired off) and the 4 of us had what I think of as an unspoken alliance that we made official a few rounds into the game. I also talked to Shii Ann a fair amount, but I felt like I never trusted her (good intuition!)

Jenna and I always discussed what OUR best move in the game was and knew that we would have to split up Amanda/Heidi at some point, which we accomplished later on.

At merge, Shii Ann tried feeding our side junk about how she wanted Kel/Joe out, saying they were idlers that she didn't respect and she wanted the game to have the best jury possible. I didn't believe her and so I talked to Amanda about it, who originally intended to go along with this, but we decided to vote for Kel/Mia without telling her. I filled in Jenna and Amanda filled in Heidi.

Now here is something the majority of the jury would not know. Heidi didn't vote correctly either. She accidentally voted for Joe and then Kel, which were both stray votes that didn't matter. The reason the vote still tied was because Ian voted with us, and the reason he did so was because of me. I reached out to him and offered an alliance. So our set of 4 votes were from Jason/Amanda/Jenna/Ian. If Heidi voted correctly, we would have had majority, and if whoever on the other side didn't mess up either, it would have tied 5-5. My reaching out to Ian saved our asses and gave us a fighting chance.

Kel lost his tie to Amanda and I lost my tiebreaker to Mia. I made this comment about it on the TC 10 thread:

"i played a good game <3 i was never outplayed or outwitted.. i simply lost a tiebreak challenge to mia (which i would have won if i kept my original firecount). you can vote however you see fit, though, i don't mind."

and Mia responded with this:

You just contradicted yourself. You WERE outplayed...I beat you in that tie breaker challenge fair and square. Besides that...had the host been clearer in that vote to start with then our whole crew would've voted the right way and then BOTH you and Amanda would've simply been voted out. No ties involved.

I wasn't able to respond in that thread, but I'm going to do so now. I totally admit that I DID lose that fair and square, it's not about that. To me, the word "outplayed" means that I was beaten on a strategic level, which I don't feel I was. Losing the tiebreaker falls under "outlasted" to me, so it's really just a matter of semantics. As for the second part, we can throw ifs out all day, but it doesn't change what happened... and now that you know what you do about Heidi misvoting as well, we could have either won or still tied too.

Then I returned to the game. This is the part where some people take issue - but I had nothing to do with it and anyone could have won that prize. A bringback has happened on the show. Shii Ann has been most critical of this, but how come no one has complained about how ridiculous all the other powers the crates had were? Or how there were 3 hidden immunity idols in the game? (of which Shii Ann had 2, lol) I was "saved" by the bringback, but other people were saved by other things too - for example, Mia was saved by the power she had by piggybacking onto Shii Ann's immunity win, forcing us to vote out Ian. I take no issue with that because, in truth, the whole game was kind of ridiculous, haha. Given this, the final vote shouldn't be based around these powers and should be based on who played the best game.

In the vote where I came back, Amanda wanted to assure Shii Ann that we would not vote her out and do it anyway, thinking she would not play her idols and I basically had to tell her that she was crazy. I instead suggested that we make Shii Ann think for SURE she needed to play them and to blindside Ami, making Shii get rid of her idols and look stupid in the process, lol. Just being honest, I enjoyed that immensely! LOL. Jenna helped with this by telling Shii that she thought Mia/Ami were voting with us as well, which made her play BOTH instead of one since one of them had an HII disabling power. Jenna and I rocked that vote, not Amanda (sorry girl, just tellin' it!)

Then Joe quit and then we were forced to vote out Ian, who was a nice guy but that wasn't in our F4 alliance.

Then Shii Ann quit.

Then Jenna and I made another move and decided it was time to split up Heidi/Amanda. The reason we went for Heidi is because Amanda still had her HII, but we made sure they didn't have a strategic advantage over us. We did this by going to Mia, who was totally on board. This was when I got to know Mia/Bo on a better level, which I probably should have done before. You know I don't kiss ass, but Bo is a cool guy and I think that he would be in the F3 right now if he didn't tell me that he joined the game with Joe/Kel/Ami. Between them and Shii, that = auto-win. I knew it couldn't happen.

So I worked my ass off to win the final immunity to make sure Jenna and I got what we wanted and so that I'd have the final decision. Amanda and Jenna didn't even finish part 1. How could they want the win more than me if they didn't try very hard on the FINAL immunity?

And that's my game. Aside from all that, I just think that I was very visible in the game and that I was always very emotionally honest and was never afraid to speak my mind instead of riding the fence. I'm ok with not being the winner, but I hope I've made a pretty good case anyhow! Good luck to Jenna and Amanda <3

I just wanted to say I could not participate in the final challenge because of a Virus issue haunting my computer and by the time I ran millions of scans I did not have the time to even finish the first part... I would have loved to duke it out with you darling. I personally think you played a good game, but sadly I do not get a vote <3 you!!!

[Mia]

First...there's a difference in your side's flub vote in that tie than in ours. With us...we ALL voted the same. Had the host stated we had to vote in a specific order...then we would've. Heidi simply voted different altogether. Huge difference.

Second...
Outwit = strategy
Outplay = challenges
Outlast = surviving

There is no other way to think of that Jason...it's WHAT it means. If you think it means other stuff...then you need to read a dictionary.

Third...you DID have something to do with it...you got to return.

Fourth...I earned my "Immunity Piggyback" in that auction. The difference is that my item wasn't added after the fact...

Fifth...I'm voting Amanda and I encourage Shii Ann, Ami, Joe and Kel to all vote Amanda too. If you 4 luvs me...you'll do it! Jason...you admitted you took me out at 4th simply because of that...well, looks like Amanda will be the only to be rewarded for it.

i would like to know why you're voting for amanda, though.

We're voting for Amanda because you suck as a player jason. you got voted out once already and so you don't deserve to win. Jenna, she never really showed she did very much in this game.

Amanda was totally out front and open with people about what was happening, so I know I'll be voting for Amanda, so looks like Amanda has two votes as of right now, yippee, go amanda.

Jason, between Amanda and Jenna, who would you pick to win, and why?

Shii, how was Amanda upfront and open when you called her a fake cheater all the time? Also, being deceptive is part of the game and Jenna and I did that better. We had a hand in every single person voted out whereas Amanda had no control past the F5. If my being voted out once is the nail in my coffin, I can respect that, but I'm not a shitty player and you guys are obviously not considering everything else I've done in this game. I think it's really telling that you clearly made up your minds before even considering what Jenna or I had to say - that means you're voting bitterly.

Btw, to Joe, Kel, and Ami... I sincerely hope you'd vote your own way and not just blindly follow Mia, because that would be really weak-minded to do.

Hey Ian! I love both, but I'd choose Jenna to win over Amanda, just because Jenna and I played strategically and Amanda didn't do as much of that. Amanda is deserving of being the most liked by a landslide, and that seems to be what people are voting on. I'm happy that one of us is taking it, so just vote your own way and thank you for giving me a chance, Ian. I do appreciate that a lot.

I'm still not completely dead set on who I want to win.

What was your strategic best move in the game?

LMAO, look at Jason talking about people following others blindly. We all told you guys what would happen if Amanda made it to the end, but you guys were just dump or ignorant. Now, you guys want to play naive and say, "Oh Amanda doesn't deserve it. We actually played the game on our own." Maybe if you guys had listened to others all through the game you guys wouldn't have found yourselves in the situation you are in now.

As far as voting off of being bitter, i'm not. I told you guys all along that if Amanda made it to the end then I'd have to vote for her. She played this game very well. Again Jason, I don't see how anyone can vote for you to win a game that you were already voted out of once. It shows that you weren't a very good player to begin with if you were voted out once. You said you were out because of a tie breaker challenge, but the simple fact remains that we all voted you into the tie breaker challenge which means you were voted out, plain and simple. I don't see how anyone can vote for someone to win when they were voted out, it doesn't make very much sense.

Again, don't be angry at others for your guys mistakes.

We never "listened" to you because Jenna and I knew we were playing the game in our own right.

I just wanna say I'm not angry at all, lol. I love Amanda and I will be thrilled for her when she wins <3 I'm just a little frustrated that you're giving me zero credit as a player. I did things in the game as illustrated in my original speech. I would just like to know what moves Amanda made that make you think she played the best strategic game - I don't think that's a lot to ask. How can you read what I wrote and then say I didn't play the game for myself? If I didn't, Jenna and I wouldn't have taken out Heidi and we would be telling you to vote for Amanda right now.

That post you just made is probably the fairest thing you've posted all game though, and so I can accept it. I already said that if my being voted out once is the thing that does not allow you to vote for me, then I can respect it.

Hey Heidi I definitely think the biggest move I made was the plan to lie to Shii and get her to play her idols and instead blindsiding Ami. Between individual immunity and her 2 HII's, Shii could have almost waltzed right to the end and I stopped it with that plan.

For the last time Jason, and for everyone else as well, Jason was not responsible for me using both of my idols.

SO STOP TAKING CREDIT JASON FOR THINGS YOU DIDN'T DO!!!!

The reason I used my idols is because Joe was mad at me for using him as a pawn the round before and Mia had told me that he had that power and so I thought he might use that power against me to get back at me for using him during the game.

THAT IS THE REASON I USED THE IDOL!!! JASON HAD NOTHING, NOTHING TO DO WITH IT FOR THE LAST TIME!!!

For the last time? That's the first I'd ever heard of that, lol.

No, jason it's not the first time you've heard of that, i have told you at least twice on AIM.

The first time was right after I used them and you came to me with your cocky attitude saying, "I got you to use both your idols" and I told you, "Um, no you didn't, I used them because Joe was mad at me."

So, like i said before, would you like to give heidi an example of something you REALLY did do??
